Position Overview: We are seeking passionate, committed, and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a volunteer board member, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization, ensuring we fulfill our mission. Responsibilities: Governance and Oversight: Participate in quarterly board meetings and special meetings as needed. Ensure the organization adheres to its mission, vision, and values. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with fellow board members and the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans. Provide guidance and expertise to support organizational growth and program development. Advocacy and Fundraising: Actively promote the organization’s mission within your network and community. Assist in fundraising efforts, including securing donations, sponsorships, and partnerships. Participate in events and campaigns to raise awareness and support for the organization. Committee Involvement: Serve on at least one board committee (e.g., fundraising, governance, programs). Contribute to specific projects or initiatives as needed. Qualifications: A commitment to the mission and vision of Project Jeremiah 29:11. Prior experience in nonprofit work, fundraising, or governance is a plus but not required. Skills in one or more of the following areas: finance, law, marketing, public relations, fundraising, program development, or nonprofit leadership. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to dedicate time and energy to attend meetings, events, and organizational initiatives.
