Senior Restoration Engineer - NYC

Are you a licensed P.E. looking to step into a leadership role on impactful urban infrastructure projects? Join a well-established, design-forward engineering firm based in New York City that's redefining what restoration means for complex structures in the city that never sleeps.

We're hiring a Senior Restoration Engineer to lead parking structure and building envelope restoration projects across the NYC metro area.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Senior Restoration Engineer, you'll take ownership of restoration projects from concept to construction:
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams on restoration, repair, and new design of:
  • Parking garages (restoration + new design)
  • Building envelopes
  • Plazas and structural waterproofing systems
  • Perform forensic investigations, field assessments, and condition surveys
  • Prepare technical reports, repair recommendations, and full drawing/spec packages
  • Manage client relationships, budgets, and schedules across multiple active projects
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and actively contribute to team development

What You Bring:

  • P.E. License (QPSI Preferred - PE License - NY State preferred, or ability to transfer quickly)
  • 7+ years of experience in restoration engineering or structural design
  • Strong experience with parking garage structures, façade/envelope systems, waterproofing
  • Able to lead fieldwork, manage reports and drawings, and run project meetings independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication for client interfacing and team coordination
