Job Description

The primary purpose of the Senior Credit Analyst positions to analyze financial information and assess the risk of offering credit, preparing reports and providing insight to support sound loan decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare written credit-approval packages for approval presentation

• Research, examine, and quantify the degree of credit risk involved in a credit

• Evaluate customer records and recommended payment plans based on submitted financial data

• Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers’ financial capacity

• Analyze financial data such as income growth, quality of management and market share of customers

• Prepare various monthly reports for presentation to senior management

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years banking credit analyst experience is required

• Must be a team player with a willing and positive attitude

• Strong analytical ability, careful attention to detail and time management skills are essential

• Possesses the ability to communicate at a high level both verbally and in writing

• Motivated self-starter and an active learner

• Commercial real estate cash flow analysis experience, preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required; John Henry/Loan Vantage experience a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in business related major with at least two accounting courses, preferred
