Role Purpose The Regional Clinical Sales Specialist advances the Company’s sales of orthopedic surgical products by providing clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and operating rooms. This includes independent coverage of surgical cases, management of billing/purchase orders, logistics, and asset management. This role works under close supervision and in partnership with Sales Consultants. The Regional Clinical Sales Specialist will be assigned to support territories as needed within the assigned area and must be able to travel within the U.S. as necessary (frequent overnight and/or weekend) or relocate to the geographic region assigned by the company. Key Responsibilities Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support of orthopedic surgical cases. Advance DPS sales by serving as sole Company representative to provide direct customer support by attending surgeries and ensuring proper equipment is available and functioning. Troubleshoot and respond to physician needs; address customer requests; manage hospital billing and purchase orders. Share customer, procedural and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to improve solutions and service levels; prepare sales reports as needed. Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation. Maintenance, tracking, and deployment of equipment and assets throughout the assigned area to ensure product availability. Maintain promotional materials and ensure DePuy Synthes Services and offerings meet high quality standards. Provide logistical support by moving instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $90,000. The Company maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus as described in the applicable plan. Bonuses are discretionary. This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program. Employees may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other benefits.
