Essential Job Responsibilities

1. Supporting the Procurement Manager with day-to-day activities.
2. Purchasing materials and supplies.
3. Sourcing and quoting products to meet production needs.
4. Working within a given budget to purchase goods and services.
5. Maintaining an inventory of supplies and materials, deciding when to make purchases as needed.
6. Placing and tracking orders with vendors and suppliers.
7. Entering and updating purchase orders.
8. Estimating and sourcing by contacting suppliers for pricing.
9. Checking invoices for accuracy and authorizing payments.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of directly related procurement experience.
3. Previous manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
4. Strong organizational skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
