OTR Class A Owner Operator at Clean Harbors summary:

The OTR Class A Owner Operator is responsible for safely operating tractor trailer units to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Linden, NJ and Cincinnati, OH, averaging 2800 miles per week. This role prioritizes health and safety, requires maintaining logs and compliance with DOT regulations, and includes proper loading, unloading, and securing of loads. Compensation includes hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and mileage pay, with bi-weekly home time and an average annual income of $200-250K.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Linden, NJ! This route runs from Linden, NJ to Cincinnati, OH and averages 2800 miles per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
