Position Title: Bartender / Mixologist

Location: Twin Staves Whiskey Room
Reports To: Bar Manager

We focus on craft cocktails, exceptional hospitality, and showcasing both tradition and creativity in every pour. We're seeking passionate, skilled, and personable bartenders/mixologists who love whiskey and the art of crafting memorable drinks.

Position Overview:

The Bartender/Mixologist is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through expert drink preparation, strong whiskey knowledge, and a welcoming, energetic presence. You will play a key role in defining the bar’s identity and ensuring guests feel both educated and entertained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft classic cocktails and house specials with precision and creativity.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of whiskey and other spirits, with a strong ability to educate guests.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests in a warm, professional, and approachable manner.
• Follow all recipes and presentation standards, while also contributing to seasonal and signature cocktail development.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and all tools/equipment.
• Accurately handle POS transactions, cash, and inventory counts.
• Collaborate with team members and support bar manager with event prep, tastings, and private whiskey education sessions.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations and alcohol service laws.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years bartending experience in a high-end or craft cocktail setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge and passion for whiskey is essential; certification (e.g., WSET Spirits or equivalent) is a plus.
• Skilled in mixology, including understanding flavor balance, techniques, and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
