Job Description:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with experience in insurance collections, denials, and appeals. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with remote flexibility after a short training period onsite in Austin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage outstanding claims through billing and clearinghouse systems
• Follow up with insurance payors to resolve denials and rejections
• Prepare and track appeal submissions and coordinate with third-party appeal processors
• Interpret insurance correspondence and take appropriate next steps
• Work within internal billing platforms and communicate with teams via Microsoft Teams

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare AR or insurance billing
• Medicare claims experience across multiple states preferred
• Familiarity with billing tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Additional Details:

• Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Work Setting: Remote after initial one-week onsite training
• Start Date: Within two weeks or ASAP based on training availability
• Dress Code: Professional casual
