Job Description

At TensorWave, we’re leading the charge in AI compute, building a versatile cloud platform that’s driving the next generation of AI innovation. We’re focused on creating a foundation that empowers cutting-edge advancements in intelligent computing, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the AI landscape.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our growing team in a hybrid capacity. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the internal IT environment, managing end-user hardware and software, and helping ensure the overall reliability and security of our systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting a dynamic workforce, and contributing to the foundational IT infrastructure of a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on and remote support to employees for technical issues related to laptops, software, connectivity, and general IT operations.

  • Set up and maintain user devices including laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals for both onsite and remote employees.

  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process by managing user accounts and access to tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and internal systems.

  • Assist with the procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management of IT assets and hardware.

  • Help administer and support company-wide SaaS tools and internal systems, ensuring access controls and compliance with IT policies.

  • Maintain and update internal documentation including device tracking, system configurations, and user guides.

  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to improve system performance, support security initiatives, and implement process improvements.

  • Troubleshoot network issues, assist with office IT setups (e.g., WiFi, printers, A/V systems), and ensure a consistent and secure hybrid IT environment.

  • Ensure all endpoints meet company security standards, including patching, encryption, and endpoint protection.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal teams with a friendly, solutions-oriented mindset.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with macOS and Windows operating systems.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and common workplace tools (Slack, Zoom, MDM platforms like JAMF or Kandji, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of IT security principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently in a hybrid setting.

  • Strong documentation habits and attention to operational details.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance environments.

We’re looking for resilient, adaptable people to join our team—folks who enjoy collaborating and tackling tough challenges. We’re all about offering real opportunities for growth, letting you dive into complex problems and make a meaningful impact through creative solutions. If you're a driven contributor, we encourage you to explore opportunities to make an impact at TensorWave. Join us as we redefine the possibilities of intelligent computing.

What We Bring:

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a variety of benefits to support your needs, including:

  • Stock Options

  • 100% paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance

  • Life and Voluntary Supplemental Insurance

  • Short Term Disability Insurance

  • Flexible Spending Account

  • 401(k)
