For additional information, visit us at Job Description Role Purpose We are looking for an experienced Experience Designer to join our aviation client’s team. This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX. ͏ Key Responsibilities General Engage with a multi-disciplinary team through agile methodologies to define user stories and UX deliverables that meet project goals. Provide insights and advocate for design decisions rooted in user experience best practices, established design principles, and thorough research analysis. Collaborate closely with developers to devise the most effective, expedient, and efficient means of turning design concepts into reality. Collect and synthesize user feedback comprehensively, presenting findings in actionable formats while managing any adjustments to deliverables. Articulate design recommendations to stakeholders clearly and compellingly, backed by pertinent data and research findings Design Craft the visual style, interface aesthetics, and interaction flows of applications and experiences that resonate with users. Produce conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and interactive prototypes to guide development and validate designs. Maintain detailed design documentation that outlines specifications and style guidelines for consistent implementation across platforms Information Architecture Translate business rules and assets into cohesive UX systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise solutions. Prepare, manage, update, and distribute comprehensive UX documentation including navigational frameworks, wireframes, mockups, use cases, and task flows. Champion the user perspective, working collaboratively with business stakeholders to conceptualize features and user flows that meet real user needs UX Research Develop research strategies targeted at project KPIs to devise effective usability test plans, scenarios, and scripts for prototypes. Utilize various research techniques (such as heuristic evaluations, interviews, and both moderated and unmoderated testing) to gauge design effectiveness. Lead the design, execution, and analysis of usability studies and user interviews to continuously enhance product usability Project Management Deliver consistent status updates on all ongoing projects, outlining progress, outstanding tasks, and potential risks or issues. Facilitate clear communication channels to ensure project milestones are met, negotiating effectively with key stakeholders as needed. ͏ Minimum Requirements A bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or any relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a UX practitioner, showcasing a solid understanding of user experience design, interaction design, or similar fields. Proficient in utilizing modern design and prototyping tools, including but not limited to Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, Adobe CC, and Figma. Experience working collaboratively within agile development environments, maintaining close communication with developers from inception to implementation. Demonstrated advanced analytical skills for complex data interpretation and crafting sustainable solutions tailored to user needs. Ability to work effectively across various disciplines, product lines, and geographical locations while maintaining focus on user-centric solutions. Experience and comfort with remote unmoderated testing tools as well as moderated testing environments are essential. A robust understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, coupled with a commitment to user-focused design processes. Strong organizational capabilities to label, classify, design, and build intuitive flows and wireframes for intricate applications. Ability to quickly iterate on designs based on user testing and feedback, providing timely deliverables to the development team. Prior experience in developing responsive, adaptive, and accessible designs that cater to a diverse user base is beneficial. Proven capability to manage multiple concurrent projects while effectively communicating with non-technical team members. Compensation Data Compensation: Starting at $35.00 per hour This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
