Candidate must be within Eastern Timezone! Candidate must have experience in using Excel, Power BI, and SQL! This position falls under the purview of Finance Operations! Role of a Data Analyst The Data Analyst will work closely with Business Stakeholders and Program Operations to complete various projects. Responsibilities include developing ad hoc reports, performing in-depth data analysis, troubleshooting data issues, conducting data research, and collaborating with business lines and Data Stewards to support data quality efforts. The role focuses on retrieving complex data from multiple sources and simplifying it for team use. Basic understanding of project management and the skills to execute project activities are required. Qualifications Computer/technical skill training. Knowledge of Insurance and Management concepts. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong experience with SQL and database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or Access. Extensive experience creating visualizations with PowerBI. Knowledge of business or data modeling is preferred. Ability to facilitate effective meetings and gather information. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with attention to detail. Excellent organizational, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Proactive attitude towards learning and business objectives. Physical Requirements Ability to talk, hear, see, read, and operate a computer efficiently. Manual dexterity for keyboard use and handling files. Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Effective communication skills, both spoken and written. Additional Responsibilities Collect, evaluate, and prepare research and statistical data. Collaborate with SMEs for data analysis and report development. Compile and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Use software tools to interpret research data and identify trends. Work with program operations to resolve technical issues. Maintain records of research methods and results. Design and develop databases for research data collection and reporting. Communicate project status effectively to management and stakeholders.
