Job Description

We are looking for a detail-driven Commercial Credit Analyst to assess the creditworthiness of businesses applying for financing. This role involves conducting financial analyses, evaluating industry risk, and supporting commercial lending teams with well-reasoned credit recommendations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and profitability of the loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements and business performance for commercial loan applicants
• Prepare detailed credit memos with risk assessments and recommendations
• Assist in structuring loans to align with underwriting guidelines and client needs
• Evaluate collateral, cash flow, and overall credit risk profiles
• Monitor existing borrower relationships to identify and mitigate risk
• Work closely with relationship managers and senior credit officers throughout the loan process
• Stay informed about industry trends, economic shifts, and regulatory updates impacting credit quality

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis, banking, or financial services
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit principles
• Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
