Sodexo Live! is currently hiring energetic and professional Bartenders for the University of Mississippi at Ole Miss!

We're seeking individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for providing outstanding service during live events and athletic games.

Overview of the Position:

Nothing beats the energy of a live event. At Sodexo Live!, we bring hospitality to life by delivering unforgettable experiences. As a Bartender, you'll play a key role in serving guests responsibly, quickly, and with a smile. If you have great people skills and bartending experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Serve canned or bottled beer and vodka seltzers ( no cocktails or mixing required ).
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and company policy.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area.
• Handle credit transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Answer guest questions and provide information on beverage selections.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure smooth bar operations.

General Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous bartending or barback experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to fully commit to working all 8 home Football games this upcoming athletic season.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs frequently, and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor environments depending on event locations.
• Variable schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and game days.
• Exposure to loud noise and crowd conditions/weather typical of live event venues.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $8 per hour plus tips
