Job Description

We're looking for an experienced PM Bartender to join a polished and energetic team at a well-known hotel lounge in Mahwah, NJ. Shift: PM/Evening

Pay: $16.00/hr - Paid Weekly

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and guest preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing equipment.
• Engage with guests, providing friendly and attentive service, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Ensure compliance with all local and state liquor laws and regulations.
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, following proper procedures for handling payments.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the bar manager.
• Assist in creating and updating drink menus, including crafting specialty cocktails.
• Provide support during hotel events and functions, ensuring seamless bar service.

Bartender Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, lounge, or full-service restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of local and state liquor laws and regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TIPS or ServSafe certification preferred.
